Custom rings in Nepal

What we can make

Most of what we make starts as someone's sketch, a photo, or a piece they want remade. Bring us any of those, or just a description, and we will work from it.

• Rings in sterling silver or panchdhatu
• Plain bands, or rings set with a stone in the colour you want
• Rings with a name or initials
• Replicas of a ring that was lost or broken
• Variations on a ring from our catalog: a different stone, size or detail

There is no minimum order: we make single rings.

How ordering a custom ring works

1. Fill in the custom order form: describe the ring (metal, stone colour, design, and your size if you know it) and leave your phone number and delivery address.
2. We contact you on that number to talk the design through, including what it will cost.
3. We make the ring at our workshop in Bhaktapur.
4. We deliver it with Nepal Can Move, anywhere in Nepal. If you're outside Nepal, reach us on our socials and we'll arrange it directly.

What sets the price

A custom ring is priced on four things: the metal (sterling silver or panchdhatu), how much of it the ring uses, the stone, and how much work the design takes. That is why there is no fixed price list for custom work. Your ring size

Put your ring size in your custom order request. If you know it, give it the way you know it, for example 7.

If you don't, take a ring that already fits the finger you want to wear it on and measure straight across the inside in millimetres, then include that measurement in your request instead. A few tips:

• Measure a plain ring rather than a wide band; wide bands fit more tightly.
• Fingers are slightly larger at the end of the day and in warm weather.
• Check the ring will still slide over your knuckle.

We confirm every order by phone before it is dispatched, so you can check the size then too.
